Nanoclave Technologies LLP was founded in October 2009 with the aim and purpose to safely and effectively combat the growing threat of infections and contaminations caused by bacteria and
micro-organisms across a broad range of industries and facilities. By speedily eradicating these
dangerous pathogens through the delivery of its clinically proven and validated decontamination technology, Nanoclave aims to set the industry standards of the future.
An introduction to the Nanoclave team
Adam is the Director of Operations at NanoClave Technologies. He has a Manufacturing Engineering degree from the University of Cambridge and manufacturing experience in a number of industry
sectors from electronics to aluminium extrusion. Prior to joining Nanoclave, Adam worked at the
Boston Consulting Group, advising global clients on business strategy in pharmaceuticals and retail. Outside of work, Adam runs a charity for disabled youth and enjoys skiing, silversmithing and flying
Prior to joining Nanoclave Technologies, Chris garnered broad organisational experience over 20 years, working extensively in Sales, Marketing and Public Relations and as a Managing Director. From 2000-2007 Chris was Managing Director of Diskeeper Corporation Europe, an international system software company with headquarters in Burbank, California. Leading a team of 40, he successfully oversaw the company's expansion into Europe, the Middle East & Africa, achieving numerous company and product awards along the way.
In 2008 Chris project-managed a country-wide healthcare campaign in India for the SafePoint Trust charity, through which a key 'safe injection' message, highlighting the dangers of needle re-use, was broadly disseminated via TV, Cinema & Radio to over 500 million (half a billion) parents and children. The campaign and its message subsequently led to a much needed and highly positive legislation change for injection safety across India.
Technical Consultant and Inventor
John has a wealth of experience as an inventor and designer of high quality, user friendly products
across multiple industries. Within the healthcare industry he has designed numerous applications for
the sterilisation of medical products that contain delicate electronic components and which, as a result, cannot be cleaned using conventional methods.
His technical and design skills have been broadly utilised in industries such as the petrochemical
industry, defence (MOD), the financial sector and transport. Additionally, John designed a ground-breaking telemedicine system in conjunction with Sony for use in hospitals in order to see and converse with patients over satellite. He brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of high quality design to Nanoclave Technologies.
Over the last 10 years Mark has worked in project and corporate finance at HBOS plc and UBS AG respectively, specialising in the areas of energy, infrastructure and technology. He has a MSci in Physics from Cambridge University.
